I have a soft spot in my heart for sibling relationships. Partially because I’m an only child and seeing the connection between brothers and sisters is something special to me. Although I have a similar connection to my close cousins, I still will never know what it’s like to have that sibling bond. I photographed Sonja a few years back when she contacted me to do a session with her two best friends. I thought that was a pretty cool idea and we had a great time photographing at Bayfront Park, downtown Sarasota. (You can view that session by clicking here). This year Sonja thought of arranging a sibling photography session would be a great idea for her boyfriend’s parents as a Christmas gift. Ironically, the first location that came to both of our minds, was under the Ringling Bridge. An adorable place called Bird Key Park. It was a real pleasure photographing everyone with the Sarasota skyline and cotton candy skies as our backdrop.
